what's with December?

December ~ month of celebration all the way!

I love December...it marks the end of a year & also very close to the beginning of another..as for this particular year, for me, more good things happened than the not so good ones

I gave birth to my precious kira, got a new car, has a steady job, got happier & happier with my family especially my brother whom I recently met after a gap of 2 years!

tapi year 2008 was not so good for me...macam² masalah & dugaan me & hubby hadapi but i guess we go through all that to be stronger kan?? and there's something good waiting for us ahead :-)

biasalah ups & downs in life...xde sape boleh lari dari semua tu kan??

ok x mau sedih²...let me share with u guys what's up ahead in my life in the month of December!

first up ~ today @ 3rd December is my parents 31st wedding anniversary! dah 31 tahun my papa & mummy bersama...fuh..lama tu! they got married in 1978 & my mum that time baru 20 tahun...muda giler kan?? she gave birth to my brother in 1980 ~ 2 years after marriage..3 years after that was my turn to see the world and 7 years after that pulak my sister was born

and the funny part is bile i calll my mum semalam & bagitau dia pasal anniversary ni dia boleh x ingat lak..actually dia x sure pun bile dia kahwin..haha! sib baik dia ade anak² yang sentiasa ingat their parents anniversary :-)

thank you so much for being the greatest parents in the world!

secondly, on 13th December ~ next week ~ is my brother's wedding...im sooo happy for him!

thirdly ~ my own wedding anniversary is on 23rd! x sabar nak celebrate sebab tahun ni ade kira so it's 3 of us now :-)

fourth ~ just 2 days after my anni is my big day pulak! woohoo! the day i saw the world and the special thing is that it's the same day as Christmas! "Happy Birthday To You + Jingle Bell Jingle Bell " haha!

owh yes...i was called 'Christmas Girl' since small and even up to now ade uncle² yang ingat & panggil i dengan nama tu ehehe

pas tu masa kecik dulu i duduk kat flat & kawan² i at that time were mostly indians so ade satu family Christian ni manjakan i sangat especially setiap kali Christmas mesti dorang belikan i kek & celebrate my birthday kat rumah dorang...dapat banyak hadiah lak tu :-)

and then on the 31st is of courselah New Year's eve kan?? so where do guys plan to celebrate?? tengok bunga api?? me duduk rumah je kot..tengok bunga api dari tingkat 12 ehehe

December is also the vacation month kan for many people?? cuti-cuti malaysia or overseas anyone? actually we plan to go genting to celebrate our anni & my birthday but macam kena postpone je huhu hotels fully booked! hubby suggest gi somewhere in January

I guess semua destinasi pelancongan kat malaysia ni pun mesti pack gile time² macam ni..school holidays..peak time kan??

haih...postpone ja la..what to do?? huh

there are also many weddings & salesss! yes! x sabar nak shopping :-)

lepas keluar mandi tu i budget dia dah merayap la tapi tidak...suara dia datang dari area carpet tu so i wondered..eh..nape budak ni duk diam je kat situ arini?? kalau x satu minit pun x duk diam

but still...

i was so shocked! sementara dia berdiri tu (sebelum jatuh) i cepat² grab hp & amik gambar

dalam kepala otak i, i x happy sebab dia dah boleh berdiri cam tu tapi RISAU!
yalah...macam² boleh jadi kalau dia jatuh kan?

tu pun nasib baik ade carpet...kalau x??

kalau dia jatuh, kepala dia la yang paling i risaukan...walaupun carpet tapi mesti sakit & benjol..pas tu pinggang dia pun leh terseliuh ke tangan tersepit kat celah badan ke? anything!

it took me some time to actually realize that it's a also a good thing that she can get up on her own now but with support & feel happy about it :-)

x lama lepas tu dia pun jatuh dengan bantuan mama dia la kan?? ehehe

juz kidding guys! neways, I'M BACK to the blogging world! rindulah ngan my second home ni...jari jemari ni dah gatal sangat nak type & bebel kat sini ehehe

plus dah banyak sangat stories kengkawan yang i missed & i'll try my best to catch up with all of 'em :-)

too many things happened in the past week & all of them were great!

started off with my trip to PD for company's team building event...u noe what?? it turned out to be so fun & i was so occupied with all the activities but i still missed my kira so badly okey huhu

im still waiting for the pictures from my group members so i'll share with u guys once i get them ok

actually before the PD thingy, on sunday was my hubby's birthday & i even prepared an auto publish entry for him tapi x publish pun huhu donno what went wrong...pape pun happy belated birthday once again ayah! from mama & kira :-)

also last week we bought a buggy for kira...dia kan dah ganas besar so cam x sesuai lagi duduk dalam stroller so buggy is the best choice for her now...she was so happy exploring the world sitted in her buggy...sikit pun x merengek nak didukung...gud girl kira!

after that was raya...hmmm x berapa happening coz kitorg x gi memana pun...gi rumah mak angkat hubby kat kota damansara je...thats all

and my precious kira turned 8 month's old last week! dah macam² karenah dia sekarang & it's so enjoyable to watch her grow & grow & grow!

monday baru masuk keje ehehe

of courselah by this time i dah balik dari PD kan?? so i'll share with u guys everything about it once i get back to work k

but the most important thing is my precious kira has turned 8 months old today! yippie! she's 1 more month older!

how time flies..kejap je dah 8 bulan anak mama :-)

1st time in 8 months...

starting next monday 23rd november @ 6.30am will be the very 1st time in 8 months and for a period of more than 24 hours.....

I...

~won't be seeing my precious kira after work
~won't be picking her up as always
~won't be feeding her, changing her diapers & night wear
~won't be able to watch her night ramblings
~won't be putting her to sleep
~won't be waking up in the middle of the night to feed her milk

~she won't be beside me when i wake up in the morning...uwaaa!

~won't be sending her off to the babysitter's in the morning the next day
~won't be hugging & kissing her
~won't be talking to her
~won't be yelling to her  :-)

the most tragic thing is...I WON'T BE SEEING MY PRECIOUS KIRA FOR 2DAYS 1NIGHT FOR THE VERY FIRST TIME IN ALMOST 8 MONTHS SINCE HER BIRTH!

owh yes...i belum pernah lagi berjauhan dengan kira for more than 24 hours since her birth ok!
how am i gonna get through the sickening 2D1N???!

and all this is because of the company's team building event that will be held in PD from next monday to tuesday...luckily it's only for 2 days! wajib pegi ok...baru ingat nak buat alasan...malaslah nak pegi but there's no choice either huhu

alhamdulilah babysitter kira setuju nak jaga kira while i'm at PD coz ayah kira have to work & i'm not that confident to leave her with him....no no bukan x confident sebab dia xleh jaga dengan baik ke ape...he's a superb father neways :-)

it's just that kira x nak sangat ngan orang lain except for me & her babysitter...dengan ayah dia pun susah sikit...sekejap je dia nak pas tu dah merengek cari i huhu
that's why we decide the best thing is to leave her in good hands which is with her babysitter...xdelah i risau sangat kat PD nanti

but i will definitely miss her like crazy!

babysitter kira ngan anak² dia semua suka sangat kira akan tido ngan dorang...siap pesan lagi kat i bawakan baju kira yang cantik² coz nak bawa kira jenjalan nanti...yalah next week dah school holidays kan?

but i wondered whether will she miss me? will she able to realize yang dia x nampak pun mama dia for more than 24 hours? huhu

hmmmm rasa macam x nak je hari isnin tu datang bile i kena tinggalkan dia...mesti i nangis masa cakap 'bye-bye' kat dia nanti
this time it won't be the same usual every morning bye-bye but this will be for 2 days!

as for my hubby dearest, this will not be the 1st time sebab dia dah banyak kali gi keje outstation so cam dah biasa but mestilah rindu jugak ehehe

tik tok tik tok...the clock's tickin'...only 5 more days to go to leave my precious kira for 2 days!

i hate 'MONDAYS' even more now!

x taulah ape kena dengan kira bam² ni semalam...selalunya pukul 9 mesti dah ting tong..ok la paling lambat pun dia leh bertahan sampai pukul 10 tapi semalam pecah rekod ok...dah pukul 11 pun x nampak tanda² nak tido

memang best layan karenah dia tu...x reti duk diam but i just wondered from where does she gets the energy to stay up till late at nght?? pagi dia bangun around 7 teman mama dia bersiap gi keje & the whole day memang x tido lama...kejap² je babysitter kata...asyik nak main je keje dia so malam mestilah penat & ngantok kan??

cepat² amik hp & sempat record her gugu gaga...sila abaikan paket beras Jasmine tu sebab i malas nak bawak ke dapur...berat...kira pun suke je main² dekat paket beras tu ehehe

many reasons to be happy...family, friends, work...everything's going great in my life *touchwood*

owh yes...i had a fantastic weekend...starting off on friday night i met my brother after a gap of nearly 2 years!

it was a really happy moment for me & my family...semua nangis² tengok siaran 'jejak kasih' aritu ehehe

missed him sooooo much! he said i didnt really change much...the same old 'veena'and for me dia pun x banyak berubah...the same old 'boy' :-)

dia sangat geram tengok niece dia kira...cian my kira jadi mangsa ciuman & gomolan her 'masser'...yes...dalam hindi, abang kepada mak dipanggil 'masser' i.e uncle

so now i'm just waiting for my dad to accept me...dia masih merajuks la but i think he's just being ego...tau nape? sebab dia selalu akan tanya adik i pasal i (before kira was born) & now dia selalu tanya pasal kira lak ehehe

actually im just waiting for the right time to 'meet ' him...like a surprise thingy ~keeping my fingers crossed~

another happy moment on the weekend was meeting my blogger friends for the very 1st time! blogger mommies & babies gathering as we call it :-)

so on sunday me, sue, amie, anita, hanin & ielya met up @ paddington, the curve @ lunch time...semua mommies datang dengan their babieslah of course & also hubby masing² tapi i berdua je ngan kira bcoz ayah kira have to work huhuhu

memang seronok jumpa all of them in real life & babies too...owh so cute ok each one fo them! had a blast!

BORED to death!

yea..im BORED to death..can't wait to get home to my precious kira!

wonder what is my baby doing now?? tido ke? berjaga ke? being a gud gurl or notti gurl? nangis ke? sengih ke? dah mandi ke belum? dah wangi² ke masyem² lagi? dah mamam ke?? pakai baju ape?? (lupa lak baju ape i pack tuk dia this morning) hingus meleleh ke?? yes..kira selsema dah beberapa hari...cian

dah xde mood nak pandang pc...rite now i tengah pandang pokok² bunga kat luar ofis ni pas tu pandang 3 tiang bendera...one of them ade bendera malaysia...teringat pulak time sekolah every morning nyanyi Negaraku...huhuhu

hmmmmm terasa lambat gile masa berlalu...baru pukul 5 & im only going back @ 6.30...uwaaaaaa 1 jam setengah terasa cam 10 jam!

terdengar lak suara pak guard nepal kat sebelah ni yang memang suka menyibuk...geram!!!

pasu bunga kat atas meja reception ni dah layu...isnin nanti baru florist datang tukar

meja reception pun agak bersepah dengan my handphone, pen, notebook, my compact powder, my tumbler dengan wayar² pc kiri kanan...rimas...malas tul nak kemas

yes...were you as CRAZY as me? but im sure u wonder...crazy of what? or who?

this was way back in school okey around 1996 till 2000 & even after that for some time

ok let's start...this are the list of all the boy bands that were my CRAZE once upon a time dulu..huhu

 1st & foremost...sape x kenal the Backstreet Boys?? i think they are the number 1 boy band craze of all time sama level dengan New Kids On The Block which was a craze during the 80's

pasal NKOTB i x berapa tau because i was still young that time & i remember both of my aunties were crazy of them...dalam bilik dorang penuh dengan posters, they even wear NKOTB t-shirts & had keychains all over their bag :-)

back to Backstreet Boys lak, i was crazy of Kevin Richardson...semua sibuk minat Nick tapi i tetap setia ngan Kevin yang handsome lagi macho lagi tinggi tu ehehe

Nick to me is too boyish but neverthless he's cute

lagu pulak...too many to mention tapi i paling suka their 1st ever single 'Backstreet Boys', 'As Long As You Love Me' & 'Quit Playing Games With My Heart'...best!

zaman sekolah dulu yang kite boleh afford is cassettes je lah kan so me & my friends selalu gi jusco maluri tu beli cassettes & posters...buku teks sekolah pun semua balut ngan poster dorang...pas tu bawak gi sekolah magazines & all tapi bile ade spot check habis semua kena rampas ehehe

 and at the same time of the BSB craze mania, there were this group called 911...ingat x?? ehehe

dorang pun i minat especially Jimmy yang tepi kanan tu...kes ni pun sama gak...orang lain sibuk minat Lee (middle) tapi i lak minat Jimmy :-)

their songs pun best esp 'How Do You Want Me To Love You', 'All I Want Is You', 'Bodyshakin' & 'Party People...It's friday Night'

tapi kan dorang x bertahan lama la because i guess BSB were more power than them lagipun after that banyak sangat boy bands yang muncul

N'Sync!!! they are my most favourite boy bands...lebih fav dari BSB ehehe

semua lagu dorang best...yes SEMUA!

especially their second single 'Tearin' Up My Heart' was an instant hit!

suka video clip tu where they were wearing all white dancing & jumping all the way

u noe dulu mane ade vcd dvd semua kan? so i used to record each of their video clip pakai tape recorder tu (video) haha very crazy! macam² video clip i ade of all the boy bands...balik je from skool i'll watch sambil makan pas tu tido..haha!

lagi lagu N'Sync yang i suka 'I Want You Back',  'Here We Go', 'Bye Bye Bye', 'I Drive Myself Crazy', 'It's Gonna Be Me' and many many more.

sekarang ni yang famous among them is Justin Timberlake la of course...love his 'Cry Me a River' & 'Sexy Back'.

ok back to the story...today is ice cream day @ astro and its free for staff only...kenapa dapat ice cream free??

2 months back company ade wat survey & all the staff have to participate in the survey and the department who has the most staff participating in this survey will get the best treat of ice cream

if im not mistaken the 1st prize department will get haagen dazs ~betul ke spelling ni?~
2nd prize will get baskin robbins and so on la

and my department x ingatlah menang nombor berapa, we get to eat cornetto...yeay!
ok lah kan rather than x dapat pape? ehehe

owh and the not nice part is that telinga i dah sakit dengar bunyi loceng because the ice cream counter is just next to the reception!
